Quality, freshly prepared, pub food from our superb menu and specials board is available, with locally caught fish and seafood a regular feature.

Our outside seating area allows you to enjoy your meal or sip a drink, whilst soaking up the coastal atmosphere in the sun and in the evening you can witness the breath taking sunsets over Lyme Bay. Inside you can relax in our restaurant and bar area and enjoy all our pictures of The Cove House Inn over the years.

Winter days are also memorable at The Cove House Inn, we usually have our open fire on and you can watch the stormy seas pound Chesil Beach.

Drinks are a plenty! All the favorites - draught lagers, ciders and bitters are available along with fantastic guest real ales. A fine wine list has also been prepared to suit the needs of all wine lovers. Coffee made from freshly ground beans and other hot drinks are available all day long from our Italian imported coffee machine.

"Our party of five were accommodated in the pub as we didn’t want to eat outside. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was really nice. The scallops were amazing and the crab linguine was also delicious. Book in advance as this place is deservedly very popular!"

We are pleased to announce that we are dog friendly.
They are permitted in the bar area and the Madeline Tristan side of the restaurant. We ask that all dogs are kept on leads under your table and not be on any of the benches or obstructing any walk ways for the safety of the staff bringing food and drinks to tables.
